Overview:

  • Engaged to benchmark facility operations at Xerox's seven million square foot New York campus against industry best practices in staffing, processes, procurement, service levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide cost, service, and personnel impacts of various alternative strategies for closing gaps between current and best practices.
  • Develop return-on-investment models associated with various outsourcing opportunities.
Our Scope:
  • Diagnostic assessments of project-specific and portfolio planning activities, project implementation, request management, and customer interfaces.
  • Reconstruction and analysis of historical request, cost and project data to establish root causes of observed failures in budget management and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluation of legacy financial management system against documented/target management controls to facilitate a make/ enhance/and/or buy decision for replacement technology.
Deliverables:
  • Revised project and financial management processes based on demonstrated negative effects of existing controls on time-to-market, cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolved work distribution issues between in-house represented and subcontract labor through a clearinghouse process which maintained the integrity of project management objectives.
  • Developed terms of outsource contract for project management services including savings model, performance metrics, and deployment plans.
