Overview:

• Engaged by this firm's corporate center to support reengineering of facilities operations practices across their three million square foot multi-business unit portfolio.
• Limited duration and staff co-sourcing relationship based on knowledge transfer and incentive-based shared financial risks.
• Assessment of facilities-based projects organization to identify the root causes of observed financial management and project implementation problems.

• Diagnosis of project planning and implementation practices indicating higher value opportunities and leading to subsequent approval to address broader organizational and process issues.
• Functional analysis of the independent Real Estate and Facilities organizations assessed against best practices and corporate center objectives leading to the reengineering and integration of these groups under a single director.
• Introduction and design of a portfolio management function and the reengineering of timing and procedures for annual capital planning within Real Estate and Facilities to synchronize with business unit and corporate financial planning processes.
• Introduction and institutionalization of project management and control processes.

• Deployment of processes for managing planned and unplanned work (Solicitation, Clearing House and Owner's Forum).
• Supporting systems for planning and project controls (portfolio schedule, ACR, requests database, resource/cash flow tracking.
• Support for selection and on-going coaching of key role players.
• Yearly Capital Plan process, reporting and commitment procedures.
